Uputa autorima / Guidelines for authors

Cardiol Croat. 2017;12(1-2):27.

Cardiologia Croatica (ISSN tiskanog izdanja1848-543X; ISSN mrežnog izdanja 1848-5448; DOI: 10.15836) indeksirani je dvojezični časopis Hrvatskog kardiološkog društva koji izlazi kao dvomjesečno izdanje. Svim zainteresiranim čitateljima omogućen je otvoreni pristup objavljenim prilozima na hrvatskom i engleskom jeziku.

Uredništvo Cardiologia Croatica putem elektroničke pošte na adresu kardio@kardio.hr prima sljedeće kategorizirane ili razne priloge iz područja kardiologije na hrvatskom i/ili engleskom jeziku: znanstvene i stručne radove, pregledne radove, kratka i prethodna priopćenja, izlaganja i sažetke sa skupova, vijesti, prikaze knjiga, pisma uredniku i ostale priloge. Regularna duljina teksta, napisanog prema uputama International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals (www.icmje.org) i pohranjenog u obliku ime_dokumenta.doc ili ime_dokumenta.rtf iznosi do najviše 4.500 znakova s razmacima, osim cjelovitih, kategoriziranih članaka koji mogu biti duljine do 9.000 znakova. Kategorizacija priloga vrši se prema Uputama za uredništva časopisa koje su dostupne na portalu znanstvenih časopisa Republike Hrvatske “Hrčak” (http:// hrcak.srce.hr/). 

Prilikom slanja priloga potrebno je navesti imena i prezimena, ORCID identifikatore (https://orcid.org/register) svih autora, kao i pune nazive institucija na hrvatskom i engleskom jeziku. U slučaju kada prilog ima više autora potrebno je označiti autora za dopisivanje za kojeg je potrebno poslati punu poštansku adresu, telefon, fax i e-mail adresu.

Svi kategorizirani prilozi trebaju se sastojati od sažetka (maksimalno do 250 riječi), ključnih riječi (do 5 riječi), teksta članka koji može uključivati tablice i/ili slikovne prikaze te odjeljka literatura.

Tablice, grafovi i slike objavljuju se samo engleskom jeziku. Sve slikovne priloge ne slati unutar teksta rukopisa, već kao zasebni dokument u obliku TIFF, JPG (JPEG) ili PNG, u rezoluciji od najmanje 300 DPI. Iznimno se slikovni prilozi mogu poslati kao PowerPoint ili PDF dokument. Preporuča se grafove poslati kao Excel dokument.

Uredništvo ima pravo kraćenja tekstova. Svi objavljeni članci predstavljaju stavove i mišljenje njihovih autora koji preuzimaju punu odgovornost za sve što je izneseno u radu, bez odgovora na recenziju. Objavljeni materijal smije biti reproduciran uz pisanu suglasnost izdavača.

Oglašeni promotivni materijal sadrži bitne podatke o lijeku koji su istovjetni cjelokupnom odobrenom sažetku opisa svojstava lijeka te cjelokupnoj odobrenoj uputi o lijeku sukladno članku 15. Pravilnika o načinu oglašavanja o lijekovima i homeopatskim proizvodima (Narodne novine br. 118/2009). Samo za zdravstvene djelatnike. Uredništvo i izdavač ne snose odgovornost nit jamče za bilo koji od proizvoda ili oglašenih usluga.

Uputa za pisanje referencija

Za pisanje referencija u Cardiologia Croatica koristi se Vancouverski način citiranja. Referencije dobivaju broj prema mjestu prvog pojavljivanja u tekstu u kojem se označavaju arapskim brojkama kao eksponent npr.1,2-4. U odjeljku literatura referencije se poredaju po rednom broju pojavljivanja.

Vrlo je važno ispravno oblikovati referencije prema uputama koje se mogu preuzeti na adresama National Library of Medicine Citing Medicine https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/ books/NBK7256/ ili International Committee of Medical Journal Editors Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals: Sample References http://www.nlm.nih.gov/bsd/ uniform_requirements.html. Kad god je to moguće potrebno je navesti i jedinstveni identifikator referencije (DOI ili PMID).

 

Guidelines for authors

Cardiologia Croatica (ISSN of printed edition 1848-543X; ISSN of online edition 1848-5448; DOI: 10.15836) is an indexed bilingual journal of the Croatian Cardiac Society that is published 6 times a year as a bimonthly edition. All readers showing interest in the journal have open access to texts published in Croatian and English. 

The Cardiologia Croatica Editorial Office receives categorized or different texts with cardiac thematic approach in Croatian and/or English by electronic mail at kardio@kardio.hr: scientific paper, professional paper, review article, short communication, preliminary communication, conference paper, meeting abstract, news, book review, letter to the Editor, and other texts.

The usual length of a text, written according to the instructions of International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals (www.icmje.org) and filed in the form of name_document.doc or name_document.rtf should not exceed 4500 characters with spaces, except for full version of texts, categorized articles that may contain up to 9000 characters. The categorization of texts is performed according to the Instructions for Journal Editorials available in the portal of scientific journals of the Republic of Croatia “Hrčak” (http://hrcak.srce.hr/). All categorized texts need to consist of abstracts (maximum 250 words), keywords (not exceeding 5 words), text of an article that may include tables and/or figures and literature section.

Submissions should list the names and surnames and ORCID identifiers (orcid.org/register) of all authors, as well as the full names of their institutions in Croatian and English. When a manuscript has multiple authors, the corresponding author must be noted along with a complete postal address, telephone number and fax number, and e-mail address.

Tables, graphs and images are published only in the English language. All illustrations are not to be sent as a part of the manuscript text, but as a separate document in the TIFF, JPG (JPEG) or PNG format in resolution not lower than 300 DPI. An exception is the illustrations that may be sent as PowerPoint or PDF document. Graphs are to be sent as Excel document.

The Editorial Office is entitled to shortening texts. All published articles represent authors’ approaches and opinions as they assume full responsibility for everything written in the article regardless of review. A published material may be reproduced with written consent by a publisher.

Advertised promotional material contains important information about the drug that is equal to the whole approved summary of the description of drug properties and the whole approved drug instruction according to Article 15 of the Regulation of the Drug and Homeopathic Product Advertising Methods (Official Gazette No. 118/2009). Only for medical staff. The editorial office and publisher shall neither assume any liability nor guarantee for any products or services advertised.

Instruction for writing references

Vancouver manner citing is used in Cardiologia Croatica for writing references. References are given according to a place of the first appearance in the text in which they are designated with Arabian numbers as an exponent such as1,2-4.In the literature section, references are listed according to ordinal number of their appearance. Whenever possible, a unique identifier for the reference should also be included (DOI or PMID).
